For Single Moms

We belive that the path to truly affecting change in underserved communities is by empowering parents and providing them with the skills and knowledge that will allow them to obtain employment that will provide for their families. We will partner with Workforce Development as well as local colleges and employers to help them understand the workforce development options that are available.
Single mothers face unique challenges compared to families with two parents. Research indicates that single-parent households often experience higher levels of financial strain, as single mothers may be solely responsible for providing for their families. This financial burden can lead to increased stress and limited resources for childcare, housing, and education.
Additionally, single mothers may struggle to balance work and parenting duties, leaving them feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Without the support of a partner, single mothers may also lack emotional and practical assistance in raising their children, making it challenging to navigate parenting decisions and cope with daily challenges.
