Our Executive Director

As the Executive Director of A Glimmer of Hope Empowerment Network, Stacy Bullock is deeply committed to uplifting residents in underserved communities. As a single mother herself, Stacy understands the unique challenges faced by mothers doing it all on their own. Her dedication and passion drive her to spearhead initiatives that break barriers and create opportunities for empowerment.

Stacy's vision extends beyond providing support; she aims to foster community growth and resilience by empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. By referring participants to existing programs and resources, Stacy amplifies our impact and ensures that every participant has access to the tools they need to succeed. Through her leadership, She is dedicated to leveling the playing field and creating a brighter, more promising future for all members of the community.

 

Stacy serves as Board Chair for the Petersburg YMCA Management Board and as an ex-officio member of The Glimmer of Hope Board. She has led numerous community engagement efforts in the City of Petersburg including a STEM Day for students, a Community Health Fair, a Day of Service at a local elementary school, and provided support for the Partnership for Petersburg Regional Job Fair. She also coordinated a girl's empowerment program, Girls with Pearls, for young women at Blandford 6th Grade Academy in collaboration with the First Lady of Virginia, Suzanne Youngkin.
